Jan 2020

During January, in the middle of the Winter season for the northern hemisphere, one of the largest and most emblematic motorbike gathering takes place. Valladolid has the Pingüinos 2020. Thirty-seven occasions already in which the true motorbike lovers face the hard conditions of the climate to gather and enjoy this mega-manifestation of the two wheels, or three because there’s also some sidecar that adds itself.

All these years there’s been a lot of things, since a Guiness World Record in 1981 for motorbikes in line until solidarity campaigns or awards to famous figures, brands or pingüinos entities, the Golden Pingüinos that were given to Jorge Martin, official rider of the Ajo Motorsport sponsored by NG Brake in the Moto 2 World Championship.

To assist to this event there are several modalities of sign-up, here we leave a link to do it.

Remember that a normal assistance is about 30.000 people, which says a lot about the brilliant organisation that every year, with better or worse climate, has all its experience in giving the maximum recognition and comfort to the attendants.

For all the weekend you can participate in a big amount of programmed activities. Trips, exhibitions, gastronomy tasting, music concerts, burning of the Pingüinos’ “falla”, giveaways, and the most expected moment of them all: the torch parade.

Saturday the 11th at 20h, the massive retinue begins an unforgettable parade, both for the participants and the audience, where through a perfectly signaled path there’s a slow motion walk through the streets of Valladolid, ending the act in the Acera de Recoletos.

But it doesn’t end here, on Sunday besides of the busy Pingüinos’ breakfast and right before noon the “GOLDEN AND HONOR PINGÜINOS 2020” awards will be given for the “PINGÜINOS 2020 CONCENTRATION”, and the gifts giveaway, including a “PIAGGIO Medley Special Ed.125” motorbike to put and end to this edition and start preparing the next one.

You can’t miss it, the Pingüinos is a march that all bikers must experiment at least once in their lives.
