The new electric motorcycles of 2022

Sustainable mobility is the order of the day, and electric motorcycles are gaining more and more presence in the market and on the roads as the years go by. In today’s article, we’re going to highlight some of the best electric motorcycles of 2022 from our point of view. Yamaha NEO’s

Yamaha launches its first electric motorcycle in Europe this year: the Yamaha NEO’s, an electric scooter equivalent to a 50cc bike. The brand presents it as an intelligent, practical, top-quality solution that promises zero emissions and an extremely quiet ride. In addition to this model, the company says it is working on another version equivalent to a 125cc motorcycle, but for now we can’t reveal anything more. This electric bike has a range of 37 km (38.5 km in Eco mode) and a maximum charging time of 8 hours.

The Yamaha NEO’s in its most basic version is available for €3,199, making it one of the most affordable electric motorcycles of 2022 on the market.

BMW CE 04

Another one of the most anticipated electric motorcycles this year is the BMW CE 04, which offers a range of 130 km. Charging time using a standard 220V household socket or a BMW Wallbox is 65 minutes up to 80%, or 4 hours and 20 minutes up to 100%. The top speed of this bike is 120 km/h, although BMW has also introduced a reduced-power version of the CE 04 that can be ridden with an A1 licence (equivalent to a moped licence).

The BMW CE 04 starts at €12,050, with the option to add different extra equipment packages that can increase the price by up to €1,149.

Ebroh Bravo CR

The Ebroh electric motorcycle offers 100 km of range. Its full charging time using a household socket is 5 hours. The performance of this electric bike is similar to that of a 125cc combustion motorcycle. Its brushless motor allows it to reach a maximum speed of 115 km/h.

The Ebroh Bravo CR has a starting price of €5,900.

Arc Vector

Finally, we’ll talk about the Arc Vector, without a doubt one of the best electric motorcycles of 2022 in terms of performance — but also the most expensive. This bike features an impressive range of 436 km and, according to the brand, its battery needs only 40 minutes to recharge fully. The Vector reaches a top speed of 200 km/h, and it can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds.

The Arc Vector enters the market with a price of around €110,000, which includes a jacket and a helmet equipped with the technology Arc Pilot System, a system designed to assist the rider.
