Introducing NG Race Star: Our New Premium Brake Discs!

As we announced a few weeks ago, this year we had the pleasure of being part of EICMA 2021 once again, where we were able to exclusively present the new premium brake disc range we have been working on for a long time: the brand-new NG Race Star.

NG Race Star: The Best Braking Performance Both on the Road and on Track

The new NG Race Star premium range is available exclusively for SuperSport and Superbike motorcycles. If you own a bike in this category, you can now choose this new braking range designed to deliver outstanding performance, both for everyday riding and for circuit use.

All Race Star brake discs feature an aluminium carrier, which significantly reduces overall weight. They are also equipped with the new hardened anodized bolts that are already present in all our latest brake discs. The difference lies in their assembly, which includes new racing-tested washers that provide the disc with greater floatability.

Developed in Competition — Now Available for Replacement Use

When it comes to design, the new NG Race Star discs clearly stand out thanks to the colour of the braking track and the unique orientation of the ventilation drillings.

The distinctive track colour is the result of a special heat treatment that creates the characteristic iridescent steel finish, making your motorcycle truly stand out.

In addition, the ventilation holes are not perpendicular to the braking surface — instead, they are angled to the disc plane and arranged in sets of three in both directions. This feature improves disc ventilation and, together with the specialised thermal treatment, helps prevent the material from reaching excessively high temperatures that could lead to deformation.
