115M78 Bedetec: Solid debut in Spanish Championship
The first race of the Motocross Spanish Championship 2026 took place March 1st in the Calatayud circuit, with a high competitive level and the presence of regular riders from the Motocross World Championship.
The 115M78 Bedetec team signed a consistent debut thanks to riders like Bernardo Tiburcio, who came in fourth twice in intense heats, demonstrating pace and consistency against the championshipâs top contenders.
âThe feedback is very positive. We had many World Championship riders here, so it was the perfect preparation. Even though I didnât get good starts I maintained a good pace and now itâs just about adjusting details for the next roundâ, Tiburcio stated.
Additionally, the Team Manager, Carlos Campano highlighted the teamâs consistency:
âIâm really satisfied with the job done. Bernardo and Salvador knew how to handle the difficulties and now we keep building for the upcoming testsâ.
Following this solid debut, the team continued to improve in the second round of the Championship, held in Malpartida de Caceres during the weekend, March 14th and 15th. The team proved, once again, their competitiveness in a demanding environment, along with the technical support of NG Brakes.
At this event, Bernardo Tiburcio secured his first European podium after finishing third in both heats, a result that took him up to the third place in the overall rankings. This milestone reaffirms the Brazilian pilotâs progress at the start of the 2026 Spanish Motocross Championship, establishing him as one of the riders to keep an eye on this season.
âI didnât get off to a great start, but I gradually found my rhythm climbed up the rankings. Itâs a very intense start, but also a huge training for the European tournament. Iâm really happy with the podium and now itâs about adjusting detailsâ. Tiburcio explained.
Meanwhile, Salvador âSalviâ Perez kept a consistent line finishing in seventh position overall, reflecting the teamâs ongoing efforts and the reliability of the technical setup under the most demanding conditions.
With these results, the 115M78 Bedetec team has solidified a strong start to the season, with NG Brakesâ support playing a key role in the driversâ performance and confidence on the track.
