NG Brakes steps up in the Supersport’s podium along with Yamaha MS Racing

Competition

The Yamaha MS Racing team, supported by NG Brakes in the breaking systems, performed an outstanding weekend at the opening round of the Spanish Superbike Championship, held in Jerez, securing two brilliant victories in the Supersport category, thanks to Unai Orrade’s talent, who dominated the races with authority aboard the new Yamaha R9.

From the beginning, Orrade maintained a solid, steady pace, managing every step of the race. NG Brake’s technical support, combined with the R9, allowed him to keep the stability, grip and precision in demanding conditions, consolidating his lead until he crossed the finish line in first place in both heats.

“It’s been an amazing weekend. To win both races wouldn’t have been possible without NG Brake’s support, which allowed me to face each curve with greater confidence and certainty in the breaking. I felt like I could push to the limits on every section of the track, knowing that the brakes always responded precisely and consistently”.

In the Sportbike category, Marc Garcia, also with the support from NG Brakes, signed with a very competitive performance, battling up the podium, until the last meters and finishing up in fourth position. A race that was defined right at the finish line. Meanwhile, the Brazilian pilot, Humberto Maier showed a very positive evolution with the Yamaha R7, finishing in sixth position, after making great strides throughout the race.

With these results, the team has boosted its confidence and confirmed the excellent work done in both motorcycle development and team management.  In addition, the involvement of NG Brakes as a key technical partner enhances the reliability and performance of the equipment during every braking maneuver. The team is already looking ahead to the next race, with the goal of continuing to compete for top positions in both categories.
