If you are thinking about travelling around Spain this summer and you are looking forward to a good trip on a motorbike, here are some of the best routes to travel around Spain and enjoy the road, the landscape and the company while riding your motorbike.
You don’t have to go far to enjoy dream landscapes on the road. You will see how these motorbike routes for travelling around Spain will become the perfect plan for your next holiday.
In Spain we are lucky enough to have all kinds of interesting routes to suit all tastes. North, south, centre, coast… Whatever your favourite landscape or area, you’re sure to find a trip that will steal your heart.
The Pyrenees from end to end
A fantastic way to travel around Spain is to ride through any stretch of the Pyrenees. The roads seem to be made for motorcycling and the scenery will leave you open-mouthed at every turn.
If you are planning a long trip, we recommend that you cover as many kilometres as possible following the border with France from end to end, for example, from Figueres to San Sebastián. If this is not the case, you can always shorten the route as you wish and adapt it to your needs.
The Costa Brava by motorbike
Without a doubt, one destination you cannot miss in summer is the wonderful Costa Brava. A seaside route to enjoy the Catalan Mediterranean landscape. The Costa Brava hides some of the most beautiful spots in the whole peninsula, with beaches with crystal clear water and from where you can enjoy the sea and mountain scenery at the same time.
We recommend you to visit the stretch that connects Tossa de Mar with Sant Feliu de Guíxols, a road that you will love to ride a thousand times.
The mountain ranges of Cadiz and Malaga
Both Cadiz and Malaga are provinces famous for their beaches, but few people also value them for their spectacular mountain ranges, with wonderful views and perfect for touring on a motorbike. A route where we will find small white villages, sinuous mountain roads, and even Natural Parks such as Los Alcornocales, Grazalema or Sierra de las Nieves.
What we love about this geographical area and this route is that you can perfectly combine rural tourism with beach tourism depending on what you feel like at the time, as everything is just a stone’s throw away. Without a doubt, this is one of the most highly recommended routes for travelling around Spain on a motorbike, not to mention its gastronomy!
