Yamaha NEO’s
Yamaha is introducing its first electric motorbike in Europe this year, the Yamaha NEO’s, an electric scooter equivalent to a 50cc motorbike. The brand is presenting it as a smart, practical and high quality solution that promises zero emissions and an extremely quiet ride. In addition to this model, the company says it’s working on another version equivalent to a 125cc scooter, but at the moment we have no further details. This electric bike has a battery life of 37 km (38.5 km in Eco mode) and a maximum charging time of 8 hours.
The Yamaha NEO’s most basic version is available for 3,199 €, making it one of the most affordable 2022 electric motorbikes on the market.
BMW CE 04
Another of this year’s most expected electric motorbikes is the BMW CE 04, which has a battery life of 130 km. Charging time with a 220 V domestic socket or a BMW Wallbox is 65 minutes to 80% or 4 hours and 20 minutes to 100%. The top speed is 120 km/h, although the brand has also introduced a reduced-power version of the CE 04 so that it can be driven with an A1 licence (equivalent to a moped).
The BMW CE 04 has a starting price of 12,050 €, with the option of purchasing various extra equipment packages that can raise the price by a maximum of 1,149 €.
Ebroh Bravo CR
The Ebroh electric scooter has a battery life of 100 km. It takes 5 hours to fully charge from a domestic socket. The performance offered by this electric motorbike is similar to that of a 125 cc combustion motorbike. Its Brushless motor allows it to reach a top speed of 115 km/h.
The Ebroh Bravo CR has a starting price of 5,900 €.
Arc Vector
Finally, let’s talk about the Arc Vector, undoubtedly one of the best electric motorbikes of 2022 in terms of performance, but also the one with the highest price. This bike has a driving range of 436 km and its battery needs only 40 minutes to fully recharge, according to the brand’s announcement. The Vector’s top speed is 200 km/h, and it can go from 0-100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds.
The Arc Vector comes with a price tag of around 110,000 €, which includes a jacket and helmet equipped with Arc Pilot System technology, a system that makes riding easier.
