NG Brakes renews its sponsorship with the team Ajo Motorsport KTM for the 2019 season of the World MotoGP Championship in the Moto2 category. The agreement is for all the team programs and it includes the Ajo Academy, a nursery of future champions started by the Aki Ajo structure.

“NG Brake and Ajo Motorsport pretend their sponsor relationship begun 5 seasons ago to remain as fruitful for both as until now. The decision of renewing is not something done lightly, it is based on a history of success that we have to extend for a long time”, explained Vicens Torras, owner and director of NG Brakes.

Aki Ajo, Team Principal and CEO of the Red Bull KTM Ajo Motorsport went exclusively to our central headquarters in Cerdanyola del Vallès to interest first-hand about the last news we are developing and also to seal the so-much-desired continuity for both enterprises.

The start of this gratifying relationship begins in the 2015 season when the World Championship is achieved by the French driver Johann Zarco. In the next season, 2016 the success with Zarco is repeated.

In 2017 Miguel Oliveira ends up 3rd in the Championship and his mate Brad Binder 8th in his debut in the category.

And at last in this 2018 championship the team Ajo Motorsport KTM has been proclaimed World Champion by teams in Moto2 thanks to the 2nd and 3rd place of Oliveira and Binder respectively.

For the 2019 there will be news in the Finnish formation, the most recent one is the incorporation of Jorge Martín, current world champion in Moto3, as the mate of Brad Binder. Now there is only left for us to wait until the following tests of 20th February which are programmed in the Jerez circuit. The season will begin on the 10th March in the Losail International Circuit of Qatar.
